III. Create a Cable Plant
D. Create Path

1. From the menu bar, click on Components.
2. Select Add.
3. Select Create Path.

CMS will walk you through the rest of the process.

 


4. First, a window will come up asking you to select a device. When ready, click on OK.

 

 


5. Then a window will come up and ask you to select a FOICB. When ready click on OK.

 

 


6. You will then be prompted to enter the Fiber Name.

 

 

 

 

 


7. Next, you need to enter the Trunk Group ID.

 

 

 

 


8. Then, select other FOICB or Device.

 

 

 

 


9. Next you must select a cable and enter the cable type and name.

 

 

 

 


10. Select a fiber and enter the fiber name.

 

 

 

 

 

 


11. After creating your selected path, you should see something like this on the left. You can see several bule lines (Paths) were created.
